Living on the Road

with Jim and Gayle

July 2003

Following the motorcade, we spent a couple of days with Robin and Sharyl in Vancouver, Wa. After that, we went to my mom's for a week to visit and help her with some chores.

After my mom's, we visited Steve and Linda at "the sheep farm".

We went to the Evergreen Air Museum in McMinnville, OR. to see the Spruce Goose -- Howard Hughes' giant wooden plane. It was too big to get a good picture, but it was amazing in its size, dwarfing the planes sitting around and under its wings.

We also visited the Portland Rose Garden.

After leaving the sheep farm, we went to Deer Park to visit our neighbors from Indio, Ron and Mary Ellen.

Foretravel Northwest replaced the pealing decals. They did excellent work. Unfortunately, they are once again lifting. We are not sure what to do now.

After getting the decals replaced, we returned to Deer Park. This is a really nice park around an 18 hole golf course. Unfortunately, the weather was HOT -- in the upper 90's; lower 100's so we didn't play much golf. The sunsets were very nice.
